Moving to Jekyll

It’s been a while! I’ve had my blog for a while now but it’s been a looong time since I’ve posted anything.

I have the time and motivation once again to start blogging. Circumstances over the last few years meant that I’ve been unable to keep up with blogging but it’s something I’m going to work to rectify. Fortunately I’ve been working on some interesting stuff which I’ll look to document here.

First port of call is updating my blog from Wordpress to Jekyll.

The main reason for this is that I don’t need 1/10 of what Wordpress offers and that a static site is smaller, lighter etc.

I migrated all of the content from my Wordpress blog over, despite some of it being 6+ years old and very dated.
